Currently, the preparation of the infusion drugs is generally done with manualextraction method by medical staff in the injection room or ward treatment room.However, the medical staff involved in the preparation of chemotherapy drugs and othertoxic drugs will come in contact with these drugs, facing the serious injury of health andeven the risk of cancer. Therefore, the development of a set of automated medical toxicdrug preparation equipment which is safe, efficient, and can completely replace themanual operation is necessary. On one hand, pharmacy robot can improve the quality ofdrugs preparation. On the other hand, pharmacy robot reduce the requirements for themedical staff,which extends the ability of the medical staff, so that the originaltime-consuming arduous and dangerous drug preparation work can be made safe andfast completed.Pharmacy robot system consists of mechanical system, control system andsoftware system three parts, and mechanical system is the basis of the whole system,which determines the facility value of motion control and the operability of softwaresystem to a great extent. This paper works through analysis and study of the workingprinciple of dispensing robot to understand the mechanical system’s applicationbackground and related demand indicator, make the design and division of mechanicalsystem function modules. This paper focuses on the various functional modules anddispensing process, carried out detailed design analysis of handling module andprescription drug bottles cap dislodging module. Solidworks is adopted to3D-modeling,ANSYS to part of the structural analysis and optimization, which ensure the smoothcompletion of prototype trial.Dispensing robot has found some shortcomings after the test run in the laboratory.This paper put forward several improvements direction according to the progress of thetest and development trend of mechanical system. Dispensing robot will be more safeand efficient, more intelligent in the future, freeing the medical staff thoroughly fromdangerous and heavy dispensing work.
