With the develop of information technology, wireless communication technologyand sensor technology, Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN) shows a clear advantage in thecapability to access information. Recent years, WSN has been applied in variousindustries. But, because of the huge number and tiny size of sensor nodes,non-replaceable battery is the only method of power supply. Thus, energy consumptionbecome one of the key technologies which restricts the development of WSN. Energyaware routing protocol also become one of the hot areas of technology research inWSN.Recent years, a variety of energy-aware strategies for wireless sensor network hasbeen developed. Most of them are energy efficiency routing protocol. These researchshave achieved some success in energy consumption, but activity patterns which showby Spatio-temporal data of nodes has not been taken into account. On the other hand, activity prediction based on this activity patterns is ignored in the design of routingdecisions to maintain energy balance in wireless network. The main contribution of this paper to energy efficiency tactics in wireless networkinclude following aspects:1) The paper researched the spatio-temporal data which triggered in wirelesssensor network, and propose the activity pattern. Then we describe the activity patternas data representation, which will be used to design routing algorithm.2) The activities happed in wirelss sensor network is analysised in this paper, take aconclusion that most of these activities are daily activities with a higher repetition rate. These daily activities almost happened at same time and same please. In view of this, clustering algorithm based on activity pattern which exports activity clusters is proposedin this paper.3) We Predict activities by the output of clustering algorithm, and then calculatethe predicted weights. After that calculate the energy-balancing weights according toSekinson index. On the other hand, residual energy weight is calculated because of theimpact of the death of some nodes to the network network. Then calculate thetransmission energy weight. Finally, the integrated weight which is used to routing iscalculated by four weights above.4) We Compared the protocol of this paper to classic protocols in the simulation by NS2, and verified the excellent performance of the protocol proposed in this paper inmaintaining the balance of energy consume, reduce the total energy consumption andextend the network’s lifetime.
