Research And Simulation Implementation On The Key Technology Of LTE-A Relay

In order to meet the mobile communication systems increasing demand for high-speeddata services in future, the technology of LTE-A is the preferred choice for4G. LTE-A systemputs forward higher requirements with the cell edge user data coverage and the averagethroughput of cell, thus relay as a key technology is introduced into the LTE-A system. Therelay technology can not only reduce the system power, but also extend the coverage of basestation and improve system capacity. This paper focuses on the research of LTE-A relay withecho cancellation technology and Turbo codes technology.First, this paper summarizes relay technology and relay structure evolution of LTE-A,and analyzes the importance of LTE-Arelay echo cancellation and Turbo codes.Then, this paper analyzes the basic idea of LTE-A relay echo cancellation and theadaptive filter based on LMS theory. It also proves the feasibility of echo cancellation schemebased on adaptive filter by deducing the adaptive filter echo cancellation algorithm based onLMS theory. In order to improve convergence speed and effect of the relay echo cancellation,the echo cancellation scheme based on parallel adaptive filter principle is presented. And theMatlab simulation experiments demonstrate the feasibility of echo cancellation scheme.Finally, this paper researches the1/3rate of Turbo codes which is used in the LTE-Arelay that specified in the R10. The coding principle of Turbo codes is analyzed, and mainlystudies the key module of Turbo codes encoding process with component encoder, inter-leaver,puncturing and multiplexer. A Turbo code structure of LTE-A system L2relay is designed,then verifies the function of each module through the Matlab software, and completes FPGAdesign of the turbo codes encoder.
