Ethernet has a widespread use on the field level of industrial control system, and hasbeen developing as a tendency of the field bus. The problems of real-time, certainty andreliability should be solved to use the industrial Ethernet. The control system based onindustrial Ethernet not only needs to ensure the confidentiality and integrity ofinformation when suffered outside attack maliciously to satisfy the information security,but also needs to monitor or control inside the system in the way of safety, reliability andeffectiveness to ensure the function security. The safety of industrial Ethernet must takeboth function security and information security into consideration. The industrialEthernet protocol, the core of industrial control system, will be the tendency of solvingproblems of real-time and safety.This thesis used the industrial Ethernet developing platform based on Cortex-A8,and a safe protocol stack which contained real-time scheduling and synthesized functionsecurity and information security had been designed with the architectural characteristicof Cortex-A8. The embedded linux system was used to complete the implementation ofsafe protocol stack, and data link layer was implemented in the linux kernel space, andupper protocol in the linux user space. The industrial communication subsystem of theAM3359microprocessor based on Cortex-A8was used to implement data link layer, andthe embedded linux system was used to implement the real-time scheduling and functionsecurity. The high-speed storage, high-speed capacity and low-power consumption of theAM3359microprocessor were used to implement information security. An industrialEthernet experimental platform in the laboratory environment had been set up, and thereal-time, function security and information security had been tested. The experimentalresults indicated that the real-time scheduling can satisfy the general industrialrequirement. And the safe protocol stack had decreased the influence on the functionerrors of the whole communication when industrial Ethernet was under fault injection.And the safe protocol stack had decreased invasion probability of success efficientlywhen industrial Ethernet was under simulation invasion.
