In recent years, embedded technology has made greatdevelopment and wide application in the fields of automatic control,intelligent instruments, traffic management, information appliances,consumer electronics and other fields. Man-machine interface,process control and the governor formed the basic framework ofmodern automatic control system. Addressing this trend,this papertrys to design a ARM11-based DC motor system, combined with theman-machine interface in order to achieve the commandtransmission and reproduction control system running. This articlemainly focuses on the design of the driver design.This paper chose S3C6410(ARM1176JZF-S core) as the coreprocessor, chose Linux3.0.1for the operating system, on the basis ofthe overall,this paper introduces the structure of a DC motor speedcontrol system.In the part of the system software, this paper focouson design of device drivers. This paper analyzes the trends ofdevelopment of embedded technology and its current key technicalpoints.This paper completes the embedded Linux softwaredevelopment platforms, including cross-development environment,the kernel boot program, root file system and the kerneltransplanting.In the U-BOOT,this paper adds the driver ofDM9000AE chip card and adds the function of booting kernel by theSD Card. Make YAFFS2file system.Analyse the basic methods ofdesigning and loading device drivers.Through the detailed analysisof module works of LCD, touch screen and DC motor, developpedtheir device drivers.Give a test on the LCD and touch screen driversand optimize the touch screen driver.
