With the amount of intelligent objects increasing explosively in the Internet of Things, how to efficiently query the objects among the IOT is a research hot spot.So far, the searching system in Object of Things is ONS which is called name service system. Because the address space of the Internet increase explosively. The query efficiency, and query stability of the ONS system can’t meet the needs of users.Chord algorithm is a resolved quickly query the network node and the proposed algorithm, the algorithm uses a ring network topology, clockwise storage node, using the distributed hash algorithm, to optimize the efficiency of find nodes in the network is important network The resource query algorithm, Chord algorithm is applied to the IOT queries, will help to improve the efficiency of the Internet of Things query.This thesis introduces the research status, framework, mainstream technologies of the Internet of Things. The article describes the basic principle as well as achievement of Chord, and discusses the problems of the Chord algorithm.Chord algorithm has some problems, such as redundancy of routing table, low query efficiency. This thesis improves the traditional Chord algorithm, and proposes an information query mechanism under the Internet of Things.The Improved Chord algorithm merges the redundant items and expands the formula, which is used to calculate pointer table, into two directions so that it can search the objects in clockwise and counter clockwise at the same time.Processing nodes request to jump across half of the ring, as close as possible to the resources held by node, and add hot node, regional management, aims to reduce the average search length and reduce the redundancy of the routing table, improve the efficiency of Chord algorithm. The article uses p2psim simulation software for improved Chord algorithm simulation, improved Chord algorithm with the traditional Chord algorithm in the average number of jumps and network latency advantages of the two performance metrics by experiments.The experimental results show that, during the information query process under the Internet of Things, comparing with traditional Chord algorithm, the Improved Chord algorithm has higher query efficiency and lower average jump length. This also improves the whole efficiency of Internet of Things.This thesis proposes an information query mechanism under the Internet of Things. The mechanism has a practical value to improve the query efficiency in the Internet of Things.
