With the cloud era coming, cloud computing has begun to spread from the IT industry tomore industries, including government agencies, the finance and the business domain. Cloudcomputing is not only a technical revolution, but also a business innovation. Cloud computingprovides a virtual model to support XaaS (everything as a service), where software as aservice (SaaS) brings resource optimization for software and hardware, and will become anew business model.Now, the basic modes of domestic textile ordering fairs systems include handmade tableordering, Excel ordering and application ordering. These ordering modes are facing differentrequirements from different clients. Meanwhile, with more and more electronic products(tablet computers and smart phones) appearing, the ordering system will face multi-terminaland multi-system integration problems. According to those problems, this paper studies theSaaS application in textile order fairs, then designs and implements a textile order fairsplatform which can support multi-tenant personalization and multi-terminal integration.First, this paper studies SaaS technologies from domestic and overseas, analyzes thestatus and characteristics of current SaaS systems, investigates and analyzes the platformrequirements of textile ordering fairs and proposes a whole solution of textile ordering fairsplatform based on SaaS. After that, four key technologies are explored:1) study and proposean integration solution of multi-terminal equipments;2) study and propose multi-tenantfunction personalization technology;3) study and propose multi-tenant data configurationtechnology and data security isolation technology;4) study and propose a platform loadbalance solution.On the basis, this paper follows software engineering disciplines and uses UML-basedobject-oriented method to build the integrated models of the platform, including the businessmodel, platform requirement model and system architecture model. Then the platformimplementation is described in detail through class diagrams and sequence diagrams, takingtwo use-cases (function configuration and filter product) realizations for example. Finally, this paper tests the functionality and performance of this platform. The testresults show that its functions match business requirements and its performance meetsoriginal goal. Now this platform has begun trial operation, and has gotten good feedback.
