As one of the most important human-computer interaction devices, the Mouse hasthe characteristics of quick operation, high accuracy and visual indication. It haseffectively enhanced the functionality of system and brought the enormousconvenience for the interaction between human and computer. The positioningcapability and methods of Mouse are important parameter in the input devices. Itspositioning capability is closely related with the measuring system, includingmeasuring system structure, performance and methods. And it will directly influencethe experience of controlling.With the rapid development of MCU (Micro-Control-Unit) and MEMS(Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System) technology, the MCU and sensor plays a moreand more important role in our life. And that make the MEMS Wireless Air-Mousedesign become a technology development trend of Mouse system by usingaccelerometer, gyroscope and other devices. As a new input device, the MEMSWireless Air-Mouse can realize the function of traditional mouse without using anyflat surface as a workspace.This thesis aims to research and design the input device of Wireless Air-Mousebased on MEMS technology and realizes the Air-Mouse’s miniaturization,intellectualization, Low-cost, high precision and high smoothness.This thesis proposes a scheme of data fusion for Wireless Air-Mouse based ontriaxial accelerometer, triaxial gyroscope and triaxial magnetoresistive sensor. And itgreatly improves the structure and positioning method of Wireless Air-Mouse basedon single or dual axis MEMS sensors from the circuit design and algorithm. Thissystem, integrating by gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetoresistive sensor, STM32MCU, nRF24L01and USB interface chip,tries to build up the Wireless Air-MouseSystem. By using accelerometer and magnetoresistive sensor, the system algorithmtakes advantage of static characteristics and the long-time stability features to compensate the gyroscope’s integral error. And it makes system convergence andstable operation possible. The accelerometer is mainly used to compensate the angleerror of pitch and roll. The magnetoresistive sensor is mainly used to compensate theangle error of yaw. From the devices selection to the programming, it has taken theeasy operation, high precision and smoothness of Wireless Air-Mouse intoconsideration. Under the prerequisite of small volume, low cost and real-time, thisthesis realizes the whole working process of mouse by this MEMS WirelessAir-Mouse system.The results of experimental data and actual test show that the multi-sensor optimalinformation fusion algorithm, mapping algorithm of cursor and dichotomy proposedis correct and effective. And the triaxial Wireless Air-Mouse based on thesealgorithms has high positioning precision and high smoothness.
