Purpose of this paper is to study a superior performance of x-band gunn dioderealization scheme and key technology. It tuned YIG tuned is the mode, at the sametime, combined with varactor tuned, controlled by digital frequency, the oscillatorfrequency stability is high, low phase noise. Scheme and the design of the specific stepsconsidering the comprehensive performance of the system.First of gunn diode work principle, this paper expounds the general theory ofnegative resistance oscillator, focus on the negative resistance oscillator oscillation dueto the condition, the stability of the oscillating working point and frequency stabilizationmeasures, etc. A few questions. In after introducing the principle of oscillator, inaccordance with the requirements of indicators proposed x-band high Q stabilized gunnoscillator scheme: oscillator using rectangular waveguide cavity structure, and adoptsthe reflecting type of direct coupling frequency stabilization cavity to improve thefrequency stability, tuning mode adopted YIG tuned and varactor tuned double-tunedcombining ways. Gives the detailed design method and design process, emphatically tothe oscillator phase noise characteristics and stability are analyzed, and the engineeringprototype oscillator is presented. A digital frequency circuit scheme is given, the resultsis a digital controlled oscillator, it is stabilized by x-band high Q gunn oscillator toproduce a frequency signal, and then it points frequency and frequency measuring, andagain to get the signal control.In this paper, using microwave gunn oscillator frequency frequency stabilizationtechnology, this technology not only has the characteristics of low phase noise, highstability, and also applied in the digital control, so it has high temperature resistantproperties, environmental characteristics at the same time is also very good, debuggingdifficulty is reduced, the frequency characteristic of the digital control microwaveoscillator with high quality, has a very broad application prospects.
