Liquid level control is one of the most common and the most important processcontrol, it works a lot in modern industrial production. Liquid level control has thecharacteristics of large time delay、nonlinearity and complexity. The A3000process controlexperimental system has strong industrial characteristics; this system can simulate a varietyof industrial fields, especially in the liquid level control of single-tank and multi-tank. Atpresent, liquid level control mostly depends on the mathematical model of the tank, theprocess of this is very complex. The cloud model controller is robustness,and it does notdepend on the mathematical model of the control object. This paper takes the A3000system as the platform, according to the characteristics of the system, and it realizes thecontrolling of liquid level based on the cloud model controller.This paper first introduces the background and the research significance of the subject,reviews the proposing and the research status of the cloud model theory; Introducing theoverall structure of the A3000system, and then describing the application status of thesystem. After that, the cloud model theory and the cloud model controller are described indetail, especially the cloud rule reason mapping.And then analysis the characteristics of the single tank, make control strategyaccording to the characteristics,design the cloud model controller according to thecontrol strategy. Realize the controlling of single–tank liquid level based on the cloudmodel controller based on the A3000system as the hardware,and VB、Matlab、Kingviewas the software. The Experiment verifies the feasibility、robustness and Anti-interferenceability of the cloud model controller.This paper continues with A3000system as a platform,after analysis theCharacteristics of Tandem double-tank control system, design one-dimension(1-D) cloudmodel controller and two-dimension(2-D) cloud model respectively. Realize the controllingof double-tank liquid level based on the cloud model controller first time withoutmathematical model. The result has certain reference significance to the real industrial fieldas well as the cloud model theory.Finally,summary the whole paper,analysis the advantages and disadvantages of thecloud model controller designed by this paper, point out the direction of future research.
