In the actual control process, many of the traditional control theories and methods are often difficult to apply to the actual system due to the nonlinear nature of the control object, complex interference and widespread uncertainties. At this point, more and more methods of intelligent control are applied to the theory and practice, to solve these difficulties gradually, change and improve the control performance of the controlled object in a high degree of complexity, high degree of uncertainty. In the field of automatic control, the intelligent control is the fruit of the development from control technology to intelligentize. It brings new vitality for the traditional control technology,and provides a new way to solve the control areas problem, get rid of the plight of conventional mathematical models and breach the existing control theory limitations.The cloud model is a novel conversion model, and is used to simulate uncertainty intelligence of human thinking. Cloud model for the intelligent control can preferably solve the control of complex system which's status can only be described by the imprecise qualitative value. From a recent study shows that its advantages become more apparent, and in some control subjects, it has better control quality than the traditional control method. However, as the fuzzy controller design, how to select the appropriate controller has been a problem. The research of design and application based on backward cloud model controller has not been studied.In this dissertation, the design of the controller rule base has been further study and some researching results have been made by the cloud model theory, the concept of qualitative description and in-depth study of inference. Moreover, a series of style humanoid controllers -- backward cloud model intelligent controller are devised and applied to the actual control systems .The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified through compared simulation experiments, so that the scope of application of cloud models is further broaden on the basis of an in-depth mining of its internal mechanism and rules, and satisfactory results are achieved. A new way of thinking is provided for the design and application of the cloud model controller.
