In practice applications, we often encounter some systems need a lot ofexperimentation and constantly trying to achieve good control effect. This control methodwith a lot of subjectivity, and these systems are difficult to use a specific mathematicalmodel to describe. Way of control them is to get people’s life experience, but the classicalcontrol theory is powerless. How to design effective conversion model (controller) ofqualitative and quantitative has become an important subject which placed in front ofexperts and scholars. Since90s of the last century, Professor Li Deyi proposed cloud modeltheory and successfully used cloud model reasoning to realize the dynamic conversion forall kinds of balance stances of three class of inverted pendulum. Cloud model theory hasbeen developing rapidly. At present, the cloud model has made Gratifying research resultsin various fields.So far, this theory is studied in theoretical and simulation-based. How quickly andeasily to design effective and reliable cloud model controller has become the focus. Forresearch of the cloud model theory, this paper choose the embedded ARM to implementcloud model control. First, from the basic theories of cloud model, we study and learn cloudmodel’s uncertainty reasoning theory based on rules generator and the theory ofapproximating, Design cloud model control system for water level based on YanHua A1000platform, and verification of the cloud model approximation theory. then analyze the relatedtechnologies of cloud model controller based on ARM, including design of common cloudmodel controller, and giving the realization method and validation using the hardwareplatform of S3C2440ARM. Then based on the theory of cloud model, the method of cloudmodel controller and ARM platform, this paper designed a track robot navigation systemand a wheeled robot complex environment obstacle avoidance system. Finally, the work ofthis paper is summarized and come up with the next stage of research.
