Nowadays, the large-scale commercial use of3G network and the applications of VoIP and IPTV is very popular. In order to adapt to the whole network operators and the development of IP-based needs, MPLS-TP technology developed rapidly. PBB-TE and MPLS are the two main technologies that get the most recognition in the industry. MPLS technology has many advantages. For example, access capabilities of multi-service, end-to-end delivery assurance, good characteristics of OAM and QoS and so on. Therefore, MPLS technology is the best developing choice of PTN evolution. At the same time, its development is being completed.According to the MPLS-TP network management system, this article launched a study of MPLS technology.MPLS-TP network management system use three-tier system, which included presentation layer, business logic layer and data access layer. The system is divided into seven parts, which are device management module, deployed management module, resource management module, automatic discovery modules, OAM management module and fault management module. The system supports both SQL Server and Oracle database. All tables of the database are divided into network management side table and device side table. Both the store configuration information in the network management sheet and the device configuration information sheet update in real-time. The system use Linux and Windows dual development environment. The backend developing system use iMF development framework and command line XML configuration file.It makes the tunnel business come true, as well as the point-to-point Eline business and the points to more points ELan business.The system use Abstract Syntax Notation One (ASN.1) as the communication language. The communication data encryption was used to ensure the data security.MPLS-TP network management systems were tested strictly. After multi system testing, the result satisfied the design requirements very well. The design ideas and methods showed in this thesis are reasonable and practical. These are valuable for the developing of similar systems.
