Key Technology Of Production-oriented3DP Device For Tablet Manufacturing

There are wide needs of Production-Oriented3-Dimension printing (3DP) Device fortablet manufacturing such as medical tablet production, tobacco industry filter production.Apply3D printing technology to produce small tablet with a complex structure, has greatsignificance. A few key technology of production-oriented3DP device are needed, in order toachieve the requirements of industrialization, such as the slicing software of STL file,injection solution formulations, powder mixtures, process parameters and defect analysis.The research of the3DP process was executed on the self-developed3DP trial device.The inkjet printhead of the device was Xaar128/80. The characteristics of STL file and thedata format requirements of the3DP device were analyzed. In order to get the intersectionwith triangular facets, slice faces were used. The Scan line filling method was used to fill thecontour. The mechanism of the3DP was analyzed, and a powder mixture that can be used inthe field of food was developed. By conducting printing experiment of different powdermixtures, acceptable sample was obtained. By analyzing the macroscopic and microscopicdifference of the samples, the influence of the powder mixtures was concluded. The processparameters and the appropriate value, such as amount of inkjet, molding time, nozzle distancefrom the powder material and environmental conditions, were analyzed. The defects in the3DP process, like the blur of the surface, broken, warped were concluded.By using the self-developed3DP device, conducted process experiment, and obtaineddesired samples. Demonstrated the research in this thesis has meted the demand of tabletproduction device. The research has great significance of promoting the3DP technology inproduction.
