In recent years,the isolation, the flexible allocation of physical resources, as wellas the convenience management of virtual machine make industry and academiawidespread attention. Virtual machine live migration technology, because of itsflexible allocation and scheduling of server resources, is widely used in the field ofdata center disaster recovery, load balancing, and data center energy saving. At thesame time, the virtual machine’s security has been a concern. With the development oftrusted computing technology, people begin to try the combination of trustedcomputing technology and virtualization technology to solve the existing securityproblems in the current virtual machine. TPM (Trusted Platform Module) is a corepart of the Trusted Computing, which provides encryption, decryption, verification,signature and other functions. Currently, the migration problem of virtual TrustedPlatform Module is the focus of attention.Based on the the in-depth study of migration technology of Xen virtual machineand trusted computing technology,we given two programs of optimization andimprovement from performance and safety.One the one hand, based on the problemthat without considering the migration pressure of network bandwidth of bandwidthcontrol algorithm of Xen, we proposed a kind of bandwidth optimization algorithmthat has a good balance of migration time,downtime and migration bandwidth andhigher overall performance. On the other hand, based on the research of vTPM, wefocuses on architecture design, migration processes as well as specific deploymentand implementation of the migration of trusted virtual machine on WAN that give agood solution for the virtual machine in the WAN environment.We do two comparative experiments including the optimization algorithm forbandwidth of virtual machine migration and the migration performance of virtualmachine with virtual Trusted Platform Module.The results show that the theoptimization algorithm for bandwidth of virtual machine migration can effectivelyreduce the usage of bandwidth on an appropriate range of migration time. At the sametime, for high-load business, the algorithm can reduce the interference of traffic loadon the migration, downtime and total migration time. In addition, we make acomparative evaluation between the ordinary one and the one with vTPM module, itshows that the vTPM module doesn’t disturb the migration performance.
