Slow light in optical information played an important role which processing andstorage technology, optical pulse information processing. In many generate slow lighttechnology,which use fiber have some significant advantage. Therefore, this article ismainly analysis and simulation based on fiber SBS slow light, and gives a solution tothe frequency difference between the stability of the pump light and signal light.First, we analyze and derive the principle of Brillouin slow light in fiber, weexplain the mechanism of the Brillouin and saturation characteristics. Based on theKramers-Kronig relations, we analyzed strong variation of the refractive index impactgroup velocity, in order to achieve a speed change of the optical pulse.Second,we start from the coupled wave equations and we theoretical research onSBS slow light. We derived slow light delay time and pulse broadening expressionsunder steady-state small-signal,we deduced Brillouin frequency shift and the Brillouinthreshold.In the SBS slow light, we needed frequency difference of the two laser beamsin a stable about11GHz for acheving stimulated Brillouin scattering. We propose theuse of autocorrelation electric field delay frequency differential locking techniques toachieve locking two-beam laser frequency differential.We through the electrical domainamplification circuit to improve accuracy locking frequency difference.We carry outSimulation experiment.Finally,in steady-state small-signal, we carry out the numerical simulation of SBSslow light. First, we analyze the relationship between delay time and gain,Found thatwhen the gain is not saturated, the delay time and gain proportional, when the gainsaturation, the delay time begins to decrease.Second,We analyzed the impact ofparameter changes on the delay time, Found that the pump power, the loss factor and thefiber length can be generated influence of the delay time; And simulating the occurrenceof stimulated Brillouin scattering at one third of length of the fiber.Finally, we analyzedthe influence of the output pulse broadening.which input pulse width and pump power.
