Forest environment is the human natural environment is an important part of biologicalenvironment, and in order to protect forest ecological environment to minimize forest disaster damagecaused and losses., this paper presents remote real-time monitoring system of forest environmentbased on wireless sensor network technology. At the same time, basing on the large space rangelayout of monitoring nodes, the traditional cable power supply is very difficult, so this paper designs anew type solar power supply technology based on flyback converter and hybrid energy storage systemto provide power for monitoring node.First of all, From the forest of the specific environment and maximum limit to improve theefficiency of solar power, we design the dc-dc transformation circuit based on the flyback converterand supercapacitor-lithiumion battery hybrid energy storage system for sensor node power supplyaccording to several different solar power supply scheme comparison.We also analyse the feasibilityof the energy management system from the theoretical model analysis and matlab simulation analysis.And then we give some suggestions to improve the conductivity incremental method to realize thesolar energy battery maximum power point tracking. The results showed that the solar photovoltaicpower generation system can better meet the node demand.Secondly, based on the characteristics of solar power,we analyse the hardware design of thesensor nodes and gateway system and set set up a set of low power consumption, reliability ofhardware system.And we also elaborated the software design of the system in detail: including theprocess of the sensor node fixed-time collecting and sending data; also the CC2430module of thesink node initialization and forming network according to the improved LEACH agreement, gatheringand sendingrelated data; the STM32module through the AT command to realize the communicationbetween GPRS module SIM900A and monitoring center.Finally, through the wireless sensor network test, GPRS remote sense test and the system’soverall test, the results show that the system is the high stability and low power consumption,and datatransmission success rate of90%or more, and it can complete the task of remote real-time monitoringof the forest environment.
