Currently, cloud computing has already become the main direction of theInternet development. It is a kind of calculation method by which computing andstorage tasks are assigned to a cloud that consists of a large number of distributedcomputers. The value of cloud computing is reflected by the value of cloud products,and the value of cloud products is implemented by the cloud computing operationand maintenance platform. Therefore, the platform in cloud environment plays animportant role. It is located in the PaaS (Platform as a Service) layer of the cloud,and its responsibility is to provide a stable and efficient operation platform to theusers who want to interact with the cloud and manage the cloud services.The purpose of this paper is to design and implement a service controlsubsystem of operation and maintenance platform in cloud environment, and toprovide a reliable platform for the users to do the operation and maintenancemanagement on the cloud services. This paper’s research includes designing andimplementing an interaction channel through which the platform being able to getthe operation requests on the cloud service between the users and the platform, andin the background, according to the specific business logic, basing on a reasonablemessaging mechanism, control the components of the operation and maintenanceplatform to make response to users’ requests.Through analyzing the current research situations in both the domestic andforeign field and related implementation techniques, this paper comes up with acomponent-oriented bus platform architecture. To meet the scalability and loosecoupling performance requirements of the platform, ActiveMQ messagingmiddleware has been used to build a distributed pub/sub control fabric for thesubsystem, in order to implement the control and dispatch of the components of theplatform. In the frontground of the system, the paper provides the users with a Webclient based on Web2.0concept, and a CLI (Command Line Interface) which isbased on the Python scripting language. In the background, the paper implements aservice control center with the Apache Wink toolkit based on the REST architecture,in order to make response to the frontground user requests and control thecomponents of the platform via the control fabric to let them work collaboratively.The ultimate realization of this paper is service control subsystem of theoperation and maintenance platform in the cloud computing environment which cannot only meet the users’ demand for using services on the cloud, but also provide ascalable platform for the subsequent development on the operation and maintenanceplatform.
