Village research is an important aspect of cultural research in China, anddomestic and foreign scholars works a lot.“Media and Village "is one of theseperspectives, which combines communication studies, sociology, cultural researchand other disciplines.2013, it is the fifth anniversary of the Wenchuan earthquake, andmedia were deeply involved in reconstruction in the disaster area in these five years,but it is lack of the study that the research on the impact of media gives to quakereconstruction in the disaster area.Selecting the Zaoshu village as a case due to the“two slogans “which catches the eyes of the media after the earthquake, and thecommunication system is the relatively backward in the village before the earthquake.It is believed that first-hand information could be provided in media impact on villagedevelopment.According to the statistics of Zaoshu village which was reported bymass-communication between September2nd,2008and August31st,2012, it showsthat media reported Zaoshu village which mainly focus on the symbol of spiritualstrength, typical characters, the guidance of value and so on.Moreover different typesof media reports showed the homogeneity of differentiation. On the basis ofquantitative and qualitative analysis, this thesis consider the control factor of themedia behavior by using the agenda setting assumptions, dissemination control.Furthermore it is found that the report was affected by the emergency of earthquake,the government-led values, as well as the media market.The “communication” image of Zaoshu village is objectively creatived by theconstruction process of "slogans" to the "spirit". A great change is brought about inthe pattern of village culture and awareness of villagers, such as the prevalence ofmainstream values, collective identity, improved media literacy, derivativethanksgiving-cultural. It cannot be denied that the media status in rural groupsdetermined the relatively weak influence of mass media in terms of shortening thedistance of the outside world, there still are "social distance".In a word,Civilization progression can compensate for the disaster. in the specifichistorical background and dissemination, medium is depth participation in thereconstruction and development of Zaoshu village, in additional, Under the influenceof various social forces,which speed up its modernization process.Essentially, it is the process that the dissemination, social environment and Recipient influence each other.
