The main focus of this thesis is the further research about the flow control technology of QoS based on the PTN transmission mode. At present, due to the rapid growth of the mobile business,the number and types of business carried by the transmission network have increased with each passing day. How-ever the traditional transmission network just provides limited transmission mode of data services, whi-ch has not been able to meet the requirements of the multi-service-types and large-grained-volume of service quality. To solve this practical problem,it is particularly important to study this thesis.This thesis is focus on the QoS flow control technology which increasingly shows unique advan-tages.The flow control technology was created specially for meeting different quality assurance requ-irements that proposed by various business data types, and it provides the corresponding service quality assurance for these types of business.This thesis has five parts,and main from three parts as follows.In the first part,the de-finition, function, flow service model of QoS technology and others were introduced.Then on this basis, the principle and model of hierarchical QoS were given further analysis. In the second part,based on the PTN transmission network technology,a set of transmission network modes with flow control function were developed.In the last part, through making appropriate arrangements for hierarchical QoS policy in this network mode, and comparing the experimental data a conclusion was got that the model can eff-ectively solve the influence of transmission network capacity on large amounts of data burst.The main research results are as follows:(1)The QoS queue scheduling algorithm and hierarchical QoS technology model were deeply analyzed separately and the process of the hierarchical QoS key technology in the PTN network was proposed also.(2)The principle of realization hierarchical QoS technology in PTN network and networking method were deeply analyzed and a PTN network model using hierarchical QoS technology was established.(3)On the platform specialized for PTN technology network management system, through selecting theNE instance of QoS policy deployment and extracting network management data for further graphical analysis, it come to a dicision that the applications of QoS flow control technology can improve the overall network performance.
