| The purpose of the digital home is to achieve the seamless connection, resourcesharing and interoperability, as well as the content delivery of multimedia resources,push and data exchange between different operating systems and different terminaldevices. Digital home offers a variety of ways for people to get information, in orderto change people’s communication, life and entertainment. Network, Internet protocolstandards and equipments are the key to the formation of the digital home. UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) is a popular intelligent interconnection protocol which issupported by more and more equipment manufacturers.With the continuous development of the Android OS, the number of Androiddevices already occupies a larger proportion of the terminal devices. In addition,watching video is an important way for people to obtain information or entertainment,video player which has a good performance can meet the requirements. Therefore, thedevelopment of video player which is based on UPnP has great significance onAndroid platform. The design of the video player is to achieve that it can bediscovered by control point, accepts the push of video resources and plays resourcesor plays videos which is stored in the devices.According to the interconnection protocol standards at home and abroad, thepaper in-depth researches and analyzes the basis of norms and codes of conduct ofUPnP protocol. In addition, this paper analyzes and researches the development ofapplications of the Android platform. The research and analysis provides theoreticalsupport for the design and implementation of the Android platform video player basedon UPnP. By the UML static modeling and dynamic modeling of video player forAndroid platform which is based on UPnP, we put forward the overall framework andsolutions. The video player is divided into two modules: video play modules andMediaRender. Video play module implements capabilities of playing; MediaRenderreceives the push of video resources and render video resources to the video player module. MediaRender complies with the UPnP infrastructure norms and code ofconduct as an UPnP device. Based on the above work, this paper configures thedevelopment environment of video player, and has completed the development of thevideo player. After testing, the design goal has been achieved. This player is easy touse and has high practical value, it has certain guiding significance and referencevalue for the development of similar projects. |
