At present, there are a large number of HFC networks in China’s Cable TV network. With the continuous development and progress of Longkou Cable Network, the demand of reforming the two-way network is growing. After conversion, users not only can watch high-definition Digital TV with clearer picture quality, make Digital TV-on-demand and playback, browse and trade stocks in real time, accept online education courses, but also can enjoy a more high-speed wed surfing. Therefore, it’s an urgent and imperative task to establish expeditiously the two-way broadband, stable and reliable integrated information network and raise the overall the bearer service ability of the cable TV network.Based on the current industry main competition scheme characteristics, this paper elucidates problems existing in the network, analyses three main technical reform schemes of the current domestic cable TV’s two-way network including bidirectional HFC technology, EPON+EOC and EPON+LAN. Due to the characteristic of HFC that it is subject to interference from external noise in actual use, the quality of network transmission is affected. Through the use of high-pass filter to isolate noise sources, an obstacle of two-way network in the whole turn is overcome. This paper describes the design process of the floor amplifier, the splitter layout, the cable moden design and the interior layout design of the client in detail. This set of programs plays a certain reference for the future overall implementation of two-way HFC network.
