Multi-touch technology is a very active and challenging research direction in thefield of human-computer interaction, surface computation technology has inspiredpeople’s enthusiasm to the multi-touch technology research vastly. But the presentdevelopment of multi-touch is stagnated in the large screen display layers, forexample,60,90,130-inch of display stage, and limited to single computer displaysystem.The multi-touch hardware display form is becoming more and more diversified,and the multi-touch software is becoming richer and richer. Whether it can give theuser more perfect touch experience by improving the algorithm, hardware andenlarging the software application is the decisive factor to the development of touchtechnology. This paper proposed a more general multi-touch framework——multiplecameras and computers coordinate communication, aimed at to solve the question thatthe multi-touch system limited to the touch-screen size, by researchinghigh-performance multi-touch instructions transmit, expanded the adaptability to thescreen size. By introducing FDTD unstructured grid method of physics into thesystem to reduce contact offsets, improving the accuracy of contact correction; usingmultiple cameras and computers to solve the problem that scope view limited, throughthe underlying network collaborative communication, allowed to handle the wholescene as well as track individual module. Eventually it realized the goal that each usercan not only enjoy a single desktop computer separately, and also can form a unifiedsharing big screen, fully embodied its intelligent characteristic.The theory and practice of this paper is based on "ocean university of Chinaacademic exchange centre multi-touch media display system","history of thecommunist party of China Qingdao monument multi-touch display platform" and "national cotton-spin six factory virtual pages display system" and other projects asthe backing, after careful and meticulous analysis, this paper expounded the platformconstruction forms of optical multi-touch system that based on multi-camera, touchpoint correction algorithm and multi-machine communication theory solution. In thispaper, the main research contents and results are as following:In this paper, it analyzed the traditional contact correction algorithm that basedon projection grid correction, and presented a new method——unstructured gridimage registration, introducing Delaunay triangle method, it has the advantage ofstrong universality, good correction effect.This paper also proposed a method——dynamic lookup table to improve thecalibration efficiency of contact, it will curing the revise coordinate to the memory,reduced the requirements to the equipment characteristic.To solve problem that the role of control and task assignment among the machine,the paper introduced TCP/IP network communication and the star network topologystructure, provided a solution of multiple machines collaborative work patterntheoretically.Innovation drives the development of science and technology, as long as theuser’s demand for multi-touch are changing, the requirement to the personnel willalways be there, technology is sure to progress, we are looking forward to theemergence of a more perfect product.
