Design And Exploration Of Online English Examination System Based On ASP

Today with the rapid development of network technology, the mode oftraditional examination is replaced by the mode of online exam gradually.Examination personnel will liberate from the heavy work and completed a series oftasks which are from generating test paper to test result by using the onlineexamination system, so that examination work will be intelligent, normative andefficient. Moreover, the online examination system gives examinee more fairness andflexibility. Finally, it saves resources, protects the environment and realizes thepaperless examination.This paper elaborates research and design process of the English onlineexamination system based on English subject. First of all, this paper introduces theonline examination system research status at home and abroad, the researchsignificance of this paper, the related technologies and preliminary work ofdevelopment system, and the theoretical study on the automatic marking of Englishwriting. Then, it introduces the system design module and describes theimprovement work of genetic algorithm of making test paper specifically. Thissystem realizes the online examination by using SQL Server2005database,development technology of ASP, development platform of Dreamweaver and threelayer architecture of B/S. This system includes the two parts of front desk moduleand the backstage module. The front desk module offers the functions of examineelogin authentication, smart making test paper, online exam, automatic marking andresult cheking. The backstage module offers the functions of administrator loginauthentication, question bank management, test paper management, examineemanagement.After testing, this system can complete the whole test process basically, butthere are some aspects to be improved. Finally, the paper puts forward the prospectand perfect direction of this system.
