It is very important.If the op-amp performance wasimproved, then the performance of the whole system can be improved.lt is seriouslyimportant to design low voltage low power consumption operational ampliifer. However,designing a high performance operational ampliifer.It is not only simple to achieve the goal of low voltage low power consumption, we musttake into account the other op-amp’s main index.First the paper pay close attention to thelatest design method of low voltage low power analog circuit technology at home and abroad.Explaining more details about their working principle and advantages and disadvantages.Under the premise of considering CMOS manufacturing technology today, through theanalysis of comparison. Designing a double power supply (power supply voltage is-0.6V to+0.6V) CMOS Rail-to-Rail operational ampliifer, ifrst of all input stage design based on levelshift technologyIt has a low requirements for supply voltage, unit gain bandwidth is very high and canprovide the Rail-to-Rail common-mode input voltage. Bias circuit adopts PTAT referencesource which based on low-voltage cascode current mirror structure. It can provide stable biasvoltage and bias current. Intermediate amplifier stage adopts folded cascode structure, outputvoltage swing is larger. Output stage adopts the total leakage configuration class ab push-pulloutput structure, not only higher output efifciency it is and it can eliminate the cross distortion,improving the linearity of circuit, it can realize full swing Rail-to-Rail output under lowpower supply voltage, compensation circuit adopts the improved zero phase compensationstructure for operational frequency compensation.Finally using TSMC company0.35CMOS op-amp model,using Spectre softwaresimulates from the Cadence. The results show that Static power consumption is63.6jUJVWhen Power supply voltage is-0.6V?+0.6V,the dc open-loop gain of is up to126dB,unitgain bandwidth is360KHZ,and phase margin is72°. The main indicators meets the expected requirement, it conforms to the low voltage low power circuit design.
