Currently there are some problems in China s iron and steel logistics industry,such as average profit decreases while cost increases, sales profit decreases while salesincreases. The reason for this situation is because of, on one hand, the excessiveexpansion of production capacity lead to product oversupply. On the other hand,pursuing of profit lead to the disorderly competition and narrower profit space, andemployees payment raising year by year makes the operating cost increasing. Thereforeit is urgent for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to improve service qualityand operational efficiency by using Information technology.In the iron and steel logistics industry, especially iron and steel warehousingcompanies, the stored goods are always great bulk, large quantities, multi-species andgoods turnover is high. These raise new requirements for warehouse management, it isnecessary for warehousing enterprises to improve the management automation anddigitization, to improve the performance of storage management through building asystem with Internet of Things technology such as RFID. The system should have thefollowing characteristics: cargo information shared while work flow ran through theentire system, all kinds of resources utilized while security risks in the systemcontrolled.
