The medical field is closely related to People’s Daily life,and isrelated to national economy and people’s livelihood. With constructing of theinformation society and deeply reforming of medical system,the medical field of Chinawill be tightened into the pace of informatization construction. Medical informationsystem will been paid closer attention by the national related department,and Medicalinformation system into the various medical units is inevitable trend. Because thesemedical information system involving the very important information,design andimplement of the favorable medical information system is of great significance.Based on the research on the status quo of the medical information at home andabroad, the project analyzed the business requirements and business flow of theinformation system and designed the network topology and the system architecture. Thesystem features are: First, this project is a practical system developing for the healthbureau of Shanghai. Through a series of debugging and testing after accomplishing ofthe system, the health bureau of Shanghai has been using this system for more than halfa year time.Second, using the MVC design pattern on the architecture of the system, theentire system is divided into multilayer structure, thus increasing the reusability of eachmodule. Third, the system adopts the Browser/Server architecture. B/S architecturesimplifies the difficulty of system deployment. Through the Internet browser, users canaccess the system. In terms of system upgrade and maintenance, we only need tosafeguard the data on the Web server. The workload of maintainer got to reduce. Fourth,the system uses the Oracle database. With strong strong availability, scalability, datasecurity characteristics of strong stability and strong, Oracle database provides a morereliable guarantee for the system upgrade. Finally, the system adopts J2EE architecture.Compared with based on the Microsoft’s.NET framework, J2EE has manycharacteristics, such as scalability, flexibility, easy maintenance. The project completed the main module design and development of the wholesystem,and implements the information for disabled children submitted to theinformation of management.
