With the continuous development of the state’s investment in education, equipmentprocurement at universities continued growth, improve college hardware strength at thesame time, the challenges of the university’s equipment management. Usually facultiesbecause the universities of equipment management units, each school has its ownequipment management system. However, in the management process, often repeatedpurchases, the low utilization rate of equipment problems. Serious impact on the qualityof the equipment management in colleges and universities.This thesis is for this problem on the the College Equipment heterogeneousdatabase management system,Design and implementation of university equipmentmanagement system for distributed service database technology were studied, Not onlyto achieve integrated management of the resources of the university-wide equipment toexpand the range of devices to share, but also to promote the flow of equipmentbetween the faculties, and to avoid duplication of procurement and other issues. In thesystem design process, the system uses a distributed theory through a distributedalgorithm to achieve a connection on the the various colleges device managementsystem database query results to unified storage, and by constructing the intermediatetable in the middle of the table structure reception function interface, read the middle ofthe table of contents, and to achieve a unified query and management of the resources ofthe whole school equipment. In system implementation, this study NET platform andSQL2005database functionality of the system to achieve the practical development ofdevice management module, function modules of equipment allocation, equipmentobsolescence, financial management, and system settings. Real change through theapplication of the system, the college equipment management process contribution tothe difficult problem of repeat purchases. Higher equipment management level played areference and the reference value.
