With the progress of communication technology industry, the energy issue hasbecome the focus of attention, so the energy-saving research of Communicationtechnology is more and more important. Among the endless variety of energy-savingtechnology research, sleeping model is a very important type of research.The mainprinciple of Sleeping model is that resources, which is idle in the network, or thedemand on which can be transferred to other resources, is setted to the sleeping state, sothat the network can use less power; The studies of network energy-saving technologiesof this article will be based on the sleeping mode and divide the traffic into severaldifferent period according to the daily traffic curve. And based on the largest trafficmatrix for each period design the sub-energy-saving network. This article will firstexamine how to divid the24-hours into some piece of time slice scientific, so that theestimated capacity of supply can be minimized.After the time slice is divided, thedesign of the energy-saving sub-topology for a single time slice will also consider howto improve the robustness of the sub-topology.Because of the designed energy-savingsub-topology for each time slice is different,when the time slice division momentcomes,there must be topology switching from one sub-topology to another.And duringthe swithing period,there must be some communication problem,such as packet loss anddemand delay,which will reduce the quality of service of communication.In this article,the research will focus on the following three aspects:first,accordingto the day-to-day business-flow curve characteristics divied the24-hours into multipletime slices scientific and effective;second,introduced the concept of algebraicconnectivity for topology when designing the energy-saving sub-topology,and based onthat, this article proposed two energy-saving algorithm: energy consumptionoptimization based on the sub-topology traversal and energy consumption optimizationbased on the connectivity matching of sub-topology. And compared the energy-savingeffect with and without connectivity introduced in the algorithm design by experimentsimulation.Last, this article introduce the fast-reroute strategies, which is used to solvethe instantaneous failure of topology, to cope the communication problems,which is caused by the topology switching process of the adjacent time slice. And finally, thisarticle compared the communication performance of each fast-reroute strategies throughthe experimental simulation.
