Design And Implementation Of Students Psychological Crisis Intervention System For Sichuan College Of Architectural Technology

Since2001, when higher vocational college has reformed, Sichuan College ofArchitectural Technology has developed for13years, and became a leading college forarchitectural technology in the southwest of China. With increasing number of enrollingstudents, cases of the particular students’ psychological crisis happen in an increasingnumber and become complex and variable. Problems of information integration,including difficulty of management, unify and asymmetry of information, turn into theprimary factor for limiting effectively work on intervention of students’ psychologicalcrisis. In Sichuan College of Architectural Technology, the students’ psychologicalcrisis intervention system is mainly aim to assist teachers working and contacting withstudents, by offering a professional information-collection-terrace for the psychologicalcrisis engendered in students’ daily life and each studying stage. Hence these teacherscan guide the students about outlook on life, values, world view and so on in time.Currently, all information like the students’ dormitory, activities and courses isdigitalized, but it is dispersive. Therefore, the intervention system for psychologicalproblems studied by this research will gradually replace the existing mentally healthyworking process. It will also collect and provide comprehensive information in time.Then it will analyze data and provide first-hand supporting information, so that theteachers will be liberated from tedious affairs, improving the whole level of their work.This research adopted UML modeling for modular analysis, B/S model forbuilding system terraces, ASP.NET and C sharp for application development, and usedSQL Server2005as the database system. Based on my post-graduate studying, I knowthat the above technical platforms are widely applied, could ease burden on the Server,and have a strong expansibility. Moreover, they are essential technical means of systemdevelopment for psychological crisis intervention.This paper researched on the following several aspects:(1) Based on overseas and domestic research status, this paper researched workingsituation of the metal health center in Sichuan College of Architectural Technology andcurrently metal health of students in this college. Feasibility analysis had also been done for the students’ psychological crisis intervention system, which includes feasibilityanalysis of system, economic feasibility analysis of technical platforms, feasibilityanalysis of support from the college and other technical analysis.(2) System modeling, system overall analysis, and analysis of actual need by eachfunction module and process analysis on important function. Especially, three modulesare carried on the thorough analysis, which are a module for integrating managementinformation of students’ daily behavior, a module for analyzing and contrasting data anda module for decision support.(3) The system design. Via modeling and analysis of the overall and each functionmodule, combined with the system expected goals, the overall design of the system andmodule design are completed.(4) The system test. Test system to find out whether it can run normally or not andwhether the early warning information reflected by the system is real and effective ornot.
