Wireless local network’s advantages such as flexibility and mobility meet the requirements of people about convenience while using internet, which cannot be provided by the traditional wired network. In recent years, wireless local area network is in a development of blowout:802.1X wireless standards constantly improved and supplemented; wireless devices are also widely used in the government, enterprises, schools and families. However the rapid increase of the wireless devices in the5GHz band has caused different degree of interference to radar in different countries. So countries require that wireless devices in5GHz must have the function of dynamic frequency selection, which used to detect radar in the current working channel and switch to a new channel that not detected radar ever. The realization of the function of dynamic frequency selection, related to the specific use of wireless devices. Centralized wireless MESH network is a new type of wireless local network for its different topology structure. So a new implementation of dynamic frequency selection for Centralized wireless MESH network is necessary. In centralized wireless MESH network, access point is controlled by access controller. The process of radar event detected by access point is handled by access controller. In this paper, the process of radar event in access controller and access point is analized and designed based on some wireless system of a company, and the function of dynamic frequency selection is achiced in both access controller and access point. In brief, the paper first raised the functional requirements in this project on the basis of DFS in802.11h and the specific system involved; then analyzed the whole process of radar event in centralized wireless MESH network, confirmed works to be done; thirdly split up the projects into modules and gave the concrete implementation in detail. Finally the paper introduced mainly used test standards about the dynamic frequency selection function, and tested the system function of this project combined with the specific circumstances.
