With the continuous development of mobile Internet technology, wireless datacommunications as the main bearer of the mobile Internet has become a popularcommunication technology at parent. As the ancestor of the wireless data communication,GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) remains a the main trend wireless datacommunication technology. The degree of perfection of its functions directly affect the userperception and market prospects,therefore,the research of GPRS is still a very importantissue.In the the GPRS communication process,the establishment of TBF (Temporary BlockFlow) with the release plays a vital role in the transmission of GPRS data flow. Access andthe separation of the MS (mobile station), data transmission and signaling transmission, thescheduling problems TBF as well as the TBF scheduling algorithm, MAC layer schedulingalgorithm will affect the stability and efficiency of GPRS data transmission. These are alsoresearch direction of the GPRS data transmission.This paper focuses on a part of the base station in GPRS communication, And made adetailed analysis of each part and the GPRS signaling processes. First, the MAC layer isintroduced. Analysis and comparison of MAC scheduling algorithm, described the pros andcons of each scheduling algorithm.And then introduced the RLC layer of the operatingmechanism, an improved mechanisms. It also proposed TBF scheduling algorithm, and madeanalysis and explanation of the algorithm principle and design ideas. Subsequently listsimulation results of the MAC scheduling algorithm and designed TBF process results in theproject. Finally, it made summary and outlook of the study. |
