FPGA Design And Simulation Wide Format Inkjet Machine Control System

Wide spraying machine is a large print equipment witch collect various substrates, the print width, print screen fine, flexible operation, figure out the advantages of fast speed. Its products have been used for propaganda, decoration and other industries, witch has become one of the important means of propaganda in the21st century. So wide spraying equipment market has great potential. On the domestic market at present wide spraying equipment are mostly based on FPGA+DSP+USB2.0control system, the system has many disadvantages such as poor real-time performance, the transmission speed is slow, the control complex faults.For those disadvantages in the first paragraph this paperuses the FPGA+control scheme of optical fiber to design the wide printing machine control system. The main content of this paper include:first, the analysis and research on the wide printing system working principle and composition of structure; Second, according to the design scheme design the hardware circuit of control card; Third, according to the overall design index and scheme of combining the FPGA software design process and state transition diagram and give a concrete realization method of the control system based on FPGA.This topic’s hardware circuit design is divided into modules, it is mainly composed of power supply circuit, optical fiber module circuit, external connection of control circuit, the circuit of PCI. Control commands and data come in to control card through the PCI circuit after processed by FPGA chip respectively, realize each control section function through the external circuit connection of control circuit and the optical fiber transmission.The wide digital control part of the print machine is integrated by Verilog HDL language FPGA’s internal logic gate, the lookup table, such as IP core resources to implement. The entire control system is divided into two parts of the system control card and word car control card. System control card is mainly include the DDR2module, MOTO_TOP module, PCI-E module etc. The word car control card mainly includes grating measurement module, the word car motor control module and optical fiber transmission module.Results show that the proposed control scheme is feasible, and the control system can continuous, stable work.It has realized the data and command transmission control between PC and printer also include word car of the law of motion control and spray printing function of the control.
