After years of development, traditional WLAN(wireless local area network) technology has been very mature, and WLAN devices have many advantages, such as low price and stable performance,.etc. At the same time, WLAN technology exposed some problems while providing network services for people. These problems greatly limit the development and application of the WLAN technology. TDMA-based MAC protocol, which can effectively avoid conflict, has attracted people’s attention and become the focus of research community. This thesis first analyzes the MAC layer functions and implementation of the typical802.11device. And then, a method to disable CSMA/CA and develop a TDMA system with fixed time slots on them is given, including original MAC mechanisms to disable, synchronization, and slot scheduling functions implementation. Finally, some groups of testing are designed and completed on the TDMA system, with the result shows that it works properly. |
