Ad Hoc network is composed by a group of mobile nodes with wirelesstransmitters and receivers. It does not rely on the fixed infrastructures.Nodes inthe network exchange information using its own wireless equipment.Ad Hocnetwork has many characteristics, such as no center, self-organized, multi-hoprouting, dynamic topology and so on.It widely used in the battlefield, emergencyrescue, temporary conference. To provide QoS guarantee for wirelessself-organizing network becomes a challenging problem because of its specificity. The most critical part of QoS guarantee is admission control. It can effectivelyalleviate network congestion and to protect and improve the quality of networkservices. This thesis is dedicated to providing an accurate method to estimate theavailable bandwidth for multi-hop Ad Hoc network.Admission control based onbandwidth policy is to further protect and improve the quality of networkservices. Available bandwidth is an important parameter of wireless ad hocnetworks for guaranteeing QoS. There are many approaches for estimating theavailable bandwidth of wireless netsworks are presented by many scholars, but nomechanism has been standardized because of many factors affecting the availablebandwidth of wireless netsworks. The proposed approach called IIAB eliminatesthe consumption for available bandwidth through calculating the probability ofconflict caused by hidden nodes.Establishing the IIAB model and using the resultto analyze the admission control and proposing a new IIAB-AODV protocoleventually.Through the simulation results,it is demonstrated that the modelproposed in this paper can improve the accuracy of the estimation of the availablebandwidth and the IIAB-AODV protocol can guarantee and improve the qualityof the service of the network effectively.
