Wireless Mesh backbone Network(WMN) topology optimization is the core technical issues of the WMN research. Meanwhile the overall performance of the WMN is affected mainly by communication interference and the quality of network topology control. In order to optimize WMN topology and reduce its interference, some scholars have done some research and gained some achievements. However, due to the small link Angle, there is still problem of serious signal interference in the process of nodes communication. Therefor, the research on topology control Algorithm of WMN is still significant.Based on the in-depth study of WMN topology control and the analysis of current status of related research, combined with the problems of too small link Angle and signal interference of nodes communication, the author proposed a Link Angle Optimization Algorithm Based on Delaunay Triangulation Network, LAOADT for short, so as to optimize WMN based on Delaunay triangulation network. Meanwhile, the author also proposed to further decrease nodes communication interference based on power control technology of the free space model, which can further improve the LAOADT topology. The specific procedures are as follows:Firstly, initialize the topology connectivity of network nodes. Make all nodes into the topology of WMN based on Delaunay triangulation network through the growth algorithm.Secondly, proposed LAOADT algorithms to control WMN topology. Trough optimizing the network topology, on the premise of guaranteeing network connectivity, it tries to expand the Angle between node links, reduce communication interference and reach a goal of optimizing the overall performance of WMN. Finally, put forward a power control technology based on LAOADT topology and free space radio model, LAOADT-PC for short, to reduce signal interference between communication nodes in directional antenna covers. On the premise of normal communication between network nodes, this technology can reduce the transmission power of data signal, decrease the data signal transmission distance and reduce the data signal coverage. Thus it reduces the data signal disturbance to the other nodes in directional antenna covers and further improves the overall performance of the WMN. The simulation and comparison results show that this algorithm is feasible to reduce the interference of the network and improve the overall performance of the WMN.
