LCD TV has taken over the mainstream of television consumption at present.With the improvement of living standards and the progress of science and technology,the demand for high-definition LCD TV has gradually grown and the product hasgradually been improved. The manufacturers are improving the quality of product towin the trust of consumers and capture the market. Color Gray level is the importantparameter of the imaging quality for the LCD module and is mainly decided by whitebalance and response time of liquid crystal. Therefore, the paper has focused on theresearch of adjustment for white balance and improved the response time of liquidcrystal and has achieved fruitful results from adjusting Gamma and OD.First of all, this paper introduces research background, development and currentstatus at home and abroad related to3D TV. The second chapter describes the Gammaand OD theory, including the LCD driving principle, the fundamental of Gamma andOD. The third chapter and the fourth chapter are the key content of this paper, whichdescrible the design of automatic for Gamma and OD of3D LCD module.The design of automatic for Gamma of3D LCD includes Gamma voltageinfluencing Gamma curve and adjusting TCON built-in RGB Gamma LUT. Using ofcolor analyzer, it realizes the automatic of Gamma adjusting by means of the Gammareference voltage automatic setting algorithm on the panel. The design of automaticfor OD of3D LCD includes OD LUT method of interpolation and compression,adjusting optimize for3D. Using a3D state drive lookup table algorithm of automaticdetermination has realized the automatic measurement for OD of liquid crystalscreen.In this paper, it is obvious that improving the3D LCD module Color Gray levelmake use of automatic adjustment system of Gamma and OD. The automaticadjustment system of Gamma and OD can effectively improve the experimentalvalidation by subjective and objective LCD TV’s white balance and response time of liquid crystal.
