With the development of the economy and unceasing advancement, people more and more go in for the high security comfortable environment and intelligent multiple information service. For the sake of people's these demands, firstly ,this article puts forward a remote control system of home hold electronic appliances on the basis of the GSM Short Message Service. Because of the mass use of home hold electronic appliances, it provides a lot of convenience for people, while, it causes much fire, therefore, when there is no person at home ,we should shut off the power supply, eliminate the electronic appliance fire hidden troubles. The essential problem of safe control home hold electronic appliances is that, when the residents go out, home hold electronic appliances are shut off root and branch. There are many kinds of power switches on the home hold electronic appliances and most of them don't have remote control interfaces, but all of them are connected to the electrical outlets, if the outlets are controlled on and off in the distance, we can control the power supplies of the home hold electronic appliances, in order to eliminate the electronic appliance fire hidden troubles. Besides that, on the way home, we can turn on the water heater to heat the water ahead of time, turn on the electric cooker and so on. All these operations depend on the users'sending control short messages to the wireless home gateway which is in the family, then the gateway parses the message and sends the control order to the execution device in the outlet on the wall, in order to actualize remote controlling the home hold electronic appliances.When people enjoy the high security comfortable environment, they put forward new demands of home network and information service. According to this trend, we designed the smart home system DCA-3000 for middle and high market. This system can provide safe defence and remote instruments check and some other functions, but there are some deficiencies, the Zigbee communication module in the data collection sub-node uses ARM cpu, its power is very high, and it doesn't have dormancy function, so it can be supplied with batteries in the long term. The second part of my task is self-design of Zigbee communication modules based on the analysis of Microchip Zigbee protocol, then I embed the Zigbee protocol codes into the module, in order to decrease sub-node power cost and solve the battery supply problem. After finishing the Zigbee hardware design, I did some communicaition anti-jamming and EMI tests, in order to make a good preparation for the follow-up applying softwares.
