| TV remote control is an important tool for people to interact with the TV. Withthe rapid development of smart TV, social networking, instant messaging and otherfunctions has become the basic properties of the TV, and these functions are putforward higher requirements on the remote control. At this time, increasing thenumber of keys on the basis of the traditional remote alone can not meet the needs ofusers. Therefore, the emergence of the new remote control is the only way to solvethis problem.This paper presents a design methodology of a remote control based on3Dtouchpad. The first part introduces the background of this research, including thedevelopment of Android, the emergence of Google TV, the development of touchscreen technology and human-computer interaction in TV, research status at home andabroad, and also introduces the purpose and significance of the research and theorganizational structure of this paper. Chapter II study the composition and structureof the Android system, and analyzes the composition of Android framework andAndroid drive.The third chapter describes the Linux device drivers, kernel modules, inputsubsystem, and all of this laid the foundation for the realization of the USB Dongledriver. Chapter IV is based on the analysis of Android4.0source code, and elaboratedthe mechanism of passing event in Android.Chapters V and VI is the core part of the thesis. The two chapters introduces thecomponents of3D multi-touch remote control system, including the remote control,RF receiver device and the TV software. Chapter V firstly introduces the variousmodules as well as the functions of the remote controller，then introduces thehardware and software of the RF receiving apparatus. Chapter VI mainly introducesthe software of TV side, including HID driver of the RF receiving apparatus andmodifications in Android Frame work layer, then introduces the compilation of the system, the installation of the driver and the remote testing. |
