A sharp increase in the number of online shoppers not only brings great development opportunity but also brings huge pressure to the courier company.How to improve the efficiency of express delivery has become the urgent need of the courier company.Currently, the couriers often use a handset called "Ba Qiang", whose main role is just to upload the scan data to the server.And it is quite expensive and difficult to carry.The Android system becomes more and more sophisticated and inexpensive. Therefore, the author thinks we can develop an application for Android phones in order to help couriers with the delivery work instead of "Ba Qiang".This topic mainly does the following several aspects:First,we try to learn the problems exist in the process when the couriers send the expresses by questionnaires and interviews from the frontline couriers and experienced online shoppers.Then we summarize the business needs of the system.Second,we design three different kind of actors for the whole delivery paltform based on the needs of the business.They are courier, express users and the server.The whole platform bases on MVC.The server side uses Struts2+Hibernate3+Spring2,and the client side bases on Android system.And the system is divided into different function modules.The author mainly does the work related to courier side.Third,the application uses Google Volley as the communication framework.And it also integrates Google ZXing、HuanXin and JPush technology.According to different function module designs and realize a express delivery system based on Android.
