Appied Research Of Association Rules Algorithm On Universities’ Educational Management System

With the continuous progress of the university’s information construction, various universities pay more attention to educational administration information. As an important part of university’s information system, educational management system changes the traditional educational administration mode gradually, and plays a role of educational administration information. Data mining can find valuable knowledge from a large number of daily data, which used to support decision. Association rule is an important method of data mining, and provides strong support for the decision of teaching management.At present, educational management system have only the function of query, insertion and modification, but don’t play a role of information technology. This paper makes use of Apriori algorithm, extracts result data of students, determines a few of related courses among the public basic courses, professional basic courses and professional courses, sets the support and confidence, makes up a function of association rules based on the quality of related courses, realizes the application system in Java language, and summarizes the correlation degree of courses. According to the correlation degree, it improves the leading teaching to reduce the learning difficulty of subsequent courses, and provides decision support for university’s teaching management.At last, the paper summarizes the author’s work and discusses the future work.
