The Enterprise Data Warehouse(EDW) is important to managing huge data and advanced information and supporting business applications. The Chinese banking attaches more and more importance to the building of EDW, and has invested much. During the building of EDW, the Chinese banking has attained and abundance of experiences, and improve the methodology and the technology of building EDW.The credit card center of X Bank wants to build a data warehouse system for centralized data management. Through the analysis and processing of a series of bank data, to understand the situation of credit card and use, to provide decision support for next year’s marketing objectives.This dissertation is focused on the construction and implementation of the Credit Card center of X Bank’s Data Warehousing, especially the standard process of the building of the Credit Card center of X Bank. Including:sample data analysis, business requirement analysis, data model construction, ETL scripting, report development etc. For the problem of the data warehouse’s construction of bank’s Credit Card Center, analysis the value, requirements to meet the statements and statements business of sample data. Selected the fields which important and meet the customer’s needs import data warehouse. The data warehouse divided into temporary layer, the base layer, aggregated layer. Import the data which converted by ETL algorithm to the warehouse. According to business needs create a data source in Oracle. Then package the data, import into IBM Framework. Build the relationships in IBM Framework, then packaged and uploaded in Cognos. To show the generate card quantity analysis, customer analysis, account statements analysis in Cognos. In the end of this thesis, a summary and prospects in the next step have been done.
