The technology of3D surface reconstruction based on line laser scanning is widelyapplied in the fields of medicine, agriculture, industry, film and television animation,computer vision applications and so on. But because of its high precision mechanical drivedevice and the complex process of the reconstruction, it has a certain limitation in application.This research want to get the complicated objects3D information quickly and accurately, andto lower the complexity and cost. On the basis of a large number of research on thetechnology of the3D surface reconstruction method, this paper adopts a method by fixingobject and camera, moving line laser transmitter to project the line laser onto the object’ssurface, so as to realize the goal of scanning the object’s surface, and through processing thelaser images,obtains the object’s3D point cloud data, and then reconstructs the object byusing the method based on contour surface model. The main work and results are as follows:(1) Construct the remote3D scanning system. This paper constructs a remote monocularvision3D scanning system by using line laser transmitter and network camera, adopts ZhangZhengyou’s camera calibration algorithm to complete the camera calibration, and according tothe space geometry transform relationship, uses the auxiliary calibration board to completethe calibration of laser plane, so as to realize the calibration of the complete system.Experiments show that the3D scanning system can obstain the target object’s3D point clouddata stably and reliably, and it has low cost, good portability and simple operation.(2) Propose the algorithm of the laser light bar image segmentation under complexbackground. By improving the algorithm of background subtraction algorithm which iswidely used, this paper averages the two frames firstly and then subtracts with the backgroundimage, thus better realizes the laser strip image segmentation under complex background. Byexperimental verification, the optical image processing method has a low complexity,compared with the classical OTSU method, the processing speed is improved by about20%,the accuracy of extraction is higher, reaches sub-pixel precision level.(3) Adopt the method of the surface model reconstruction based on contour line to realizethe3D reconstruction on the surface of the object by using the3D point cloud data obtained by scanning the object’s surface. The experimental results show that the method canreconstruction the object’s surface fastly and accurately.
