The Design Of NFC Terminal Based On Android

With the rapid development of modern electronic technology, the terminal havemore and more become an integral part of people’s life. And the development ofnetwork also makes people take highly of wireless communication. NFC (Near FieldCommunication) technology, for its character such as safe, simple, low powerconsumption may become a part of the mobile terminal in the future.According to the situation above, this thesis design a terminal with NFC functionbased on the widely used Android system.Firstly, this thesis make an exposition on the basic concept of NFC, introduce itsbasic parameters, analyse the development situation at home and abroad.Based on thissituation, this thesis introduce the NFC system and design the NFC terminal hardwarearchitecture and software architecture.Secondly, we design the miniaturization and low power consumption NFC coremodule based on the hardware architecture. NFC core module needs to be acquire theneed of different kinds of terminal, so it’s necessary to be designed a small size, lowpower consumption and strong commonality module. We need to study the powersupply, power control and power management technology, design the mechanism ofsleep and wake up, and design the small size module with low power consumptionwhich can be used a variety of terminal. After finishing than, we design a testing PCBboard to test the core NFC module. Then design the minimum NFC terminal platform,include the baseband module, memory module, power management module, interfacemodule and display module, etc.Thirdly, based on the introduction of Android system architecture and NFC stackarchitecture, we need to add the NFC stack to the terminal which uses Android and todevelop the driver of the NFC chip. At last, realizing the NFC function on the terminal.It’s necessary to build the software development and test environment to finish thedevelopment and test of the driver of NFC chip. Then, add the NFC stack to the Androidsystem and modify it to the system. Finally, compile the source code with NFC function and burn the system imageinto the terminal, then test it until the terminal realize the NFC function.
