Design And Implementation Of The RDP Client Based On Android

High-tech innovation makes smartphone and tablet PCs become common tools inpeople’s lives. Experts predict that the intelligent terminal devices such as mobilephones, tablet PCs are likely to replace the PC’s status, but now and even includes along period in the future, the PC is still occupying an important position the people’sdaily life. So, during this puriod,how to make intelligent terminals corresponding withPC effectively become a popular trend, further more,a short time ago, this is a difficultproblem. However,with the major cities WIFI hotspot coverage increase, as well asInternet bandwidth of3G and4G network generation which brings mobile phones andother intelligent terminal equipments a good network situation, and also with thepowerful increase of mobile CPU which made the ability of data processing and imageprocessing capabilities more easy, A network relying smartphone terminal, connected toa PC via Remote Desktop technology become excellent solution. With thisdemand-driven, mobile terminal remote desktop products have mushroomed developed,but many of them have drawbacks of function or performance.Therefore, In this thesis on the basis of the analysis of the current research status,,Similar products were analyzed to study the advantages and disadvantages.Then, adicision was made, that is using the Android system as platform, relying on Microsoft’sRDP protocol to design and accomplish a RDP(remote desktop) client of Android.Theusing of RDP protocol will let user connect to a remote computer convenient withoutthe nacessary to install any software on the remote computer which allow people toconnect to the remote desktop at anytime and anywhere by the Internet.The thesis first researched the technology about the RDP of which majority work isabout the RDP official specification document announced by the Microsoft and theresult of study of RDP protocol enthusiast, then made a effort to crack theprotocol.Based on the research result, the thesis analysed the Functional andperformance requirements of the software and defined the functional components ofit.Then analysed and designed the system’s overall workflow and established anddesigned the main module of the system of which the underlying data processing module is used to deal with RDP protocl transmission data.Finally, the pater fullfilledthe coding task of all the module of the system and accomplished a RDP client softwarewhich can be succesfully used to obtain a remote desktop.In the end of the thesis, aperformance and functional testing was conducted.
