Radio Frequency Identification RFID chip is a kind of passive SoC chip whichobtains energy from the electromagnetic wave in air. It has been widely applied becauseit supports multiple chips work. It could communicate from far distance and is rarelyaffected by the direction. RFID is not only a bar code substitute but also a synthesis ofmicroelectronics and wireless communication technology and the Internet. UHF RFIDis a non-contact automatic identification technology. This technology has manyadvantages, such as long distance communication, fast reading, anti-collision featuresand can be widely applied in logistics management, traffic management, item tracking,etc. The work frequency of this kind of electronic label is860MHz-960MHz. And thereading distance is farther when it adopts electromagnetic backscatter coupling principlewith data exchange.This thesis describes the design and verification of a UHF RFID digital systemwith960MHz based on EPCGEN2protocol, and including some main points such aspower control, architecture management, anti-collision strategy, function simulation,synthesis, place and route etc.Based on the research of EPCGEN2communication protocol, the high efficientdecode module improve work efficiency, test machine can send waves like reader,digital logic simulation results accord with EPCGEN2protocol, the area equivalent4000logic and gate, power consumption is less than2μW, achieve the design goals.
