The Upper Computer Software Design Of Mixed IC Testing System

In recent years, the integrated circuit design and manufacturing developmentspeed is fast in our country, and it will develops to the high-end direction, each moduleof integrated circuit (including digital, analog, mixed signal module and memory) canbe integrated into one chip. The unceasing enhancement of integrated circuit scale andlevel also promote the development of corresponding test and measurability designtechnology. For digital integrated circuit, it already had lots of mature test method andtest system. However, for analog and mixed signal circuits, its test technology is notmature enough. At present domestic mixed signal test technology and automatic testequipment are far behind the foreign countries. Mixed signal devices testing time isusually long,especially analog signal test problem is very striking, such as lowefficiency, unstable, so the research on a high speed and accuracy of hybrid integratedcircuit testing system is very urgent. On the basis of digital IC test scheme, this paperdesigns a mid-range hybrid integrated circuit testing system,which can test up to32-pindigital integrated chips and some special mixed signal chips.This paper introduces the test principle of hybrid integrated circuit and the PCsoftware design of test system, test principle is presented to four parts: DC test, AC test,functional and mixed signal test. Test system software has three levels: upper softwarelayer, middle layer and lower computer software layer. PC software design is the corework of this paper, firstly it analyse the overall requirements of test system software,then analyzing the demand of human-computer interaction interface. The PC softwarewas developed by C#programming language in VS2008; PC software is divided intotwo layers to design, including administrator layer and engineering technology layer.The received datas of PC software are managed by SQL Server database, user can viewhistorical data by the database; The middle layer is Communication module which usesUSB, it is the link of information exchange of upper computer and lower computer, theUSB communication module is in the form of DLL encapsulation for PC calls; Thelower computer layer is the ARM program module, which is responsible for the actualcontrol chip test work. This testing system software uses mixed language programming technology for development, it makes full use of each language features andfunctionality.Therefore, it realizes the rapid development of software test system.
