While the radio technology and communication data technology has become moreand more advanced, the MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology has beenintroduced into wireless communication system. MIMO technology is a kind oftransceiver front-end technology using Multi-Antenna technology to carry out adiversity processing for a wireless communication system. Without increasing thebandwidth of the system, the use of MIMO technology can greatly improve thebandwidth efficiency and expand the system channel capacity. Therefore MIMOtechnology is widely used in modern wireless communication system and will becomeone of the key technologies of the4G communication system. RF front-end intransceivers is an important module of wireless communication system, and itsperformance has a direct impact on the overall performance of communication system.In this thesis, the RF front-end broadband receiver is designed based on MIMOtechnology. The receiver work in a time division duplex mode in2.4GHz/5GHz, and itis applied to the4×4MIMO wireless communication system.The history of the development of wireless communications, the overview ofMIMO technology and the basis of the receiver design are described in the first twochapters.In chapter three and four, the system is designed as a whole, which mainlyincludes system scheme design and system performance simulation. At last, the link ofRF circuit is achieved, which includes chip select, module circuit design, LO andpower supply design.The chapter five performs a separate debugging and testing and joint transceiversystem testing. The problems appeared in this testing are summarized and the testingdata are performing theoretically analyzed. Finally, an improved scheme is putforward.
