With the advent of cloud computing and big data, network’s application such as video, audio and graphics appear in large number. It makes people’s demands of network’s bandwidth increase in a highly speed. WDM optical networks has the advantage of huge transmission capacity, high-speed and stability. For this reason, WDM optical networks is widely used in backbone network. In WDM optical network, a single wavelength transmission capacity can up to a hundred gigabits per second. N fibers failure will cause a lot of traffic transport interruption, so the network survivability has become a hot research issue.The study about the survivability of WDM optical network anti-N links failure can be divided into two categories pre-routing and dynamic routing. For the problem of optical network link failures, many related studies have issued, these studies are mostly confined to a single fiber failure scenarios, at most taking into two fibers failure scenarios. In this dissertation, the author propose the algorithm of anti-N links failure by pre-routing and dynamic routing.(1)First, this dissertation introduces the knowledge about WDM optical network and the present situation about survivability, the structure of dissertation would also be given.(2)This dissertation studies the algorithm of anti-N links failure by pre-routing, Based on the overall technical route, first introduce multi-path algorithm,then various resources allocation algorithm. The pre-routing algorithm achieves the objective that ensure traffics communication with minimum cost.(3)This dissertation stuies the algorithm of anti-N links failure by dynamic routing. a dynamic RWA baesed on wavelength plane is presented here. Under the inefficiency of the constraint while protection and work path use the same wavelength, this algorithm let both route and wavelength assignment go on at the same time for the traffics, as a result, improving the utilization of wavelength resource.(4)This dissertation introduces the basic idea of N failure prototype software, the softwore include interface design and funcation algorithm. When write this software code, this chapter content makes us better grasp the overall structure of the software.Finally, all the proposed algorithm of this dissertation do the performance test by simulating, the results indicate these algorithms performance well.
