In recent years, the industrial wireless networks have become a hot issue in the field of industrial control systems following the fieldbus. Industrial wireless technology has many advantages such as the ubiquitous perception, low-power, low-cost, anti-jamming, scalability, and high flexibility, so it has broad application prospects. WIA-PA (Wireless Networks for Industrial Automation-Process Automation) technology is one of the industrial wireless network technologies with independent intellectual property. With the support of "863national key project", this technique is completed by more than10domestic institutions, including Chinese Academy of Sciences, Southwest University, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, etc. The use of industrial wireless network has brought great convenience to the industrial production, however, as an emerging technology; there are also some challenges to the industrial wireless network. The security problem is one of the important aspects. As an open network, WIA-PA often faces a variety of security threats, so studying the industrial wireless network security to ensure the normal operation of network security has important significance. WIA-PA network uses double-layer network topology with the combination of the star and mesh network topology. For Mesh network communication, the routing technology is one of the key technologies of the WIA-PA network and the routing security also is an important factor which affects the overall network security. The routing algorithm for WIA-PA is still in the research stage and doesn’t have mature routing algorithm. Now self-organizing wireless network algorithms are more mature, such as DSDV, AODV, and DSR. However, they cannot fully meet the security requirements of WIA-PA, so we must design the secure routing algorithm to meet the needs of WIA-PA network. In order to improve security of the WIA-PA network and resist the attacks of the network of malicious nodes, this paper studies the current solutions in-depth and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the Ad hoc network routing protocols and existing security Strategy. For the specific application environment of WIA-PA network, combined with the characteristics of existing wireless routing algorithm industrial Wireless network, this paper propose a WIA-PA secure multi-path routing protocol based on-demand routing DSR. In this safety protocol,by increasing the credit value mechanism between neighboring nodes, it realizes the identity authentication and management of the neighbor nodes’ credit value. This mechanism can effectively prevent malicious nodes from joining the network and solve the selfish nodes problem in WIA-PA network; by end-to-end digital signature for the routing messages, it can-alleviate some major security problems, such as fabrication, modification, routing black-hole attack, routing replay attack. The multi-path routing mechanism is proposed to improve the routing protocol invulnerability performance through the flexible use of multiple paths and can effectively alleviate the routing rediscovery rate and the consumption of network resources. Finally, this paper compares the security multipath routing protocol for WIA-PA proposed in this paper based on the DSR with the DSR protocol in the aspects of packet success delivery rate, average throughput, average end-to-end delay and network overhead through NS2simulation platform and the simulation is carried out in view of the black hole attack. Simulation results show that the proposed WIA-PA security routing protocol algorithm based on the DSR can effectively resist a variety of routing attacks such as fabrication, modification, replay and denial of service. With the use of multi-path routing algorithm, it can effectively improve the network performance, and is suitable for WIA-PA that requires secure, reliable network quality.
